His effective date was 2/1/09, so payment starts the first full month, after his effective date which is for the period 3/1/09-3/31/09 and on 4/1/09 he would receive a check for March. pr I see your point, it may be that he doesn't get Feb06, but your dates are incorrect. I was approved 1 rating decision says that I was granted service connection 24 Jan 06, and I didn't receive my first check until 1 Apr 07. I really appreciate your thoughts.
