Question

How do I know if I am eligible for this benefit?

Received package and sent off request. Got letter indicating I'm not a 100% except by TDIU. I thought that counted also. If not, that would be reason to continue filing for additional benefits. So, I was sent paperwork for ChampVA and everything else for no reason...confused?

Thanks, PR.

Why the hassle with the VARO? Could it be that system was not updated to reflect 100%? I don't know...sent IRIS a bit ago...will see what happens now. But thanks again for your reply.

You have to be 100 percent permanent and total. It is a MWR card DD form 2765.

IU counts as long as it is permanent and total.

You need toe VA to send you a letter stating your status and take it to the nearest ID card issuing location. Uaually a Base or NG, or reserve center.

Did you aweard letter say no further exams scheduled?

That is usually the key word.

TDIU and P&T are two different things. Read your award letter very carefully.

Oooops, I just saw where this has been posted & answered on another post. Perhaps someone could combine the two.
