It's purpose is: "To amend title 10, United States Code, to extend military commissary and exchange store privileges to veterans with a compensable service-connected disability and to their dependents." I will no longer shop at home depot they offer nothing for veterans. Home Depot offers 10% off all the time to Vets, or at least mine does. ArmyTexas Posted October 20, 2009 Share Posted October 20, 2009 I'm in between Dallas and Fort Worth, and Lowes gives the 10% everywhere. Home Depot does not, I asked and they said that it was up to the Region and District manager. They also said that they would give it on Vet Day.
