C&p Audio Clinc Question

Rate this question

Question

I just found this web site and have some concerns with up coming C&P appointments.

1. I have a C&P Audio schedule for 7/6/09 in Memphis

2. I have a C&P Audio schedule for 7/10/09 in Memphis

Is it common for VA to schedule two appointments for the same type of test?

I files for hearing lost and tinnitus in Oct 2007 and just now getting an appointment. I must state at this time I do not trust the VA claim process.

I am going into this process expecting the person giving me the test will use some tricks. I am concerned about the procedure

Thanks in advance for any feedback

Ken

Just a follow up the C&P schedule for 7/10 was cancel.

I have never experience a hearing exam as the one at VA Memphis today, very detail. I have no idea of outcome but think I will meet the tinnitus requirements

The lost of hearing the lady giving test stated come back next year for another test to see if I needed hearing aids' She also stated we all have troubler hearing in a noisy environment. I have no idea what the test number results indicated but now wait for results.

Ken1,

Did the examiner have your C-file or service medical records (SMR's)

while you were at the examination?

Did you and the examiner discuss your Tinnitus?

In about 7-10 days I would go and get a copy of the C&P just to

know exactly what the examiner put in writing and to have it for my files.

I left w/o any records. I did see my 12" thick file but could not touch.

We did discuss my "Tinnitus" before and after excam. I think I meet the requirements but should know within a month.

Ken,

I had my exam in Memphis, probably by the same lady. She was non committal with me as well, but a month later I was notified by VA that I had be awarded 10% for tinnitus, and nothing for hearing.

I did stress during the exam that I was around several large explosions in Viet Nam.

Good Luck! Cavtrooper088

Cav,

Did VA bother to SC your hearing loss at even zero percent or did

they totally deny hearing loss as SC?
