Affect Of Ao On Children

Rate this question

Papa

Question

My youngest son has always suffered from ADHD, Major Depressive Disorder, Conitive Disorder, and Cadine Sleep disorder. Forgive the spelling, please. I was exposed to AO in Vietnam from 1969-70. Could there be a connection? Could or would it be advisable to file for disablity, and is this really possible? It would seem like a long shot to win.

There are a few diseases that are presumptive for the children of RVN vets. Other than that it will be a struggle.

Thanks John999. You are very correct, it would be an immense struggle. But, I have always wondered if there has ever been a study done on how many AO exposed Veterans have children with mental, physical and other disabilities. How does the numbers compare with non-exposed AO civilains in our age group. Just wondering, but would be nice to know!
