Question

I was checking my evaluation from my swrink in his progress notes of 01/09/09 and I am not sure of all of it. I would like to have a better under standing of what each means.

Axis I Hx alcohol dependence, PTSD--provisional ?

Axis II deferred ?

Axis III djd, htn, lbp, obesity ( i know what the second and last is )

Axis IV occupational, social support, comorbit, chronic illness ?

Axis V 25

I have filed for an increase in my ptsd claim for 70% or higher with td/iu and was wondering what others think of it. I also showed that I am on SSID and that part of the award for it was because of my PTSD, with Depression and Axiaty.

I have not been given anymore appointments. ?

The VA has you DX'ed with Axis one alcoholism and provisional PTSD. Has your PTSD not been service connected yet? Was your PTSD stressor verified? Do you have combat awards?

Yes I am 50% PTSD with Depression and Anxiety. I know that I misspelled it wrong last time. I didn't know what some of the things meant and weather anyone thinks I have a good chance for increase in %.

Are you employed? If you are unemployable due to the PTSD then you need a doctor to say that in a good medical report. If you are not able to work you have a good chance of getting a higher rating for PTSD. 50% is sort of the dividing line between those who can work and those who cannot in my opinion. You qualify now for IU if you can't work solely due to your SC conditions. I was close to 155's in RVN. Anyone who fired those guns or 105's has my sympathy. I can't see how anyone could fire those guns without advanced protection and not go deaf.
