Ny Claims

I found out today that many claims from NY are being sent to Togus Maine(an maybe other areas) RO for ratings then being sent back to NY for PD Post Determination. Mine is back in NY now for PD.

Togus has many reps to rate but not to PD where NY has plenty to PD but not enuff to rate.

More bouncing around than the final four!

New York Regional in NY or Buffalo RO?

NYRO was in a lot of trouble last year- mail stacking up and lost C file stuff-I think their director was replaced too.

Togus is better- I have only read a few Togus decisions but they were prepared right.

I learned from someone on how the process on claims goes. How the VA reps have papers they must go thru- like a factory they have a time frame on what papers are processed and the time they get to do it. Its really messed up for them and us. The process is old dated from right after WWII. Thankfully there are some people inside the VA who try to help the vets and work up,over,around or just plain thru the old man bureaucracy.
