wwjr
I joined the american legion and there are a whole lot of discounts we get as veterans. Sears has a great discount program through the American legion. We purchased a stainless steel frig and stove (LG) from Sears. Price in store was 1400 or more for both items. You have to purchase on line from Sears and the discount was unbeliverable. Price was 1200 for each item, no problem with delivery, items are ok. Call your local american legion and inquire about joining. :P
HadIt.com Elder john999 Posted September 11, 2009 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted September 11, 2009 I don't think that is a good enough reason to join the American Legion. You can join AARP and probably get the same deal or AAA. I don't think they do a good job of representing vets.
HadIt.com Elder jbasser Posted September 11, 2009 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted September 11, 2009 That is good and convienient but the DAV has a better discount plan including the Ford X pricing plan. That is one reason I switched from the AL to the DAV. J
