Time From C&p Exam To Decision

Hello Veterans,

Can anyone tell me what the average time is after having a C&P xam and getting your decision??

I have terminal caner and lost a leg at the (residual) VA. Why would I need a CP exam?

@jtwebmstrs@gmail.com I had a total hysterectomy and they still insisted on doing a pelvic. I asked the doctor if he saw a lot of uterus growing back, he didn't appreciate my humor. So go figure.

There is no set time but I have had fair results from the WS RO. I recieved my decision within 60 days of having my exams. Good luck it should not be long now.

It really depends on where the rater is on your claim. If a medical opinion was requested and you receive a favorable exam then it may not take too much longer.

I have seen success claims within 60 days of an exam but have also seen one take 6 months to a year.

The best thing to do is to obtain a copy of the exam and compare it to the regs. ( Schedule for rating disabilities)

If the exam states it is at least as likely as not related to service then it is favorable.

If it states less likely or not due to is unfavorable.
