Question

I receive a e mail from a prior VSO, and He was explaining that this is the rule of thumb

not always accurate, but a good relationship to the rating

GAF Score

0-40= 100%

41-50=70%

51-60=50%

61-70=30%

81-100=0%

My GAF have been 50-46-45-35

How much weight the does C&P have on your rating

Unemployment doesn't interfere with SSD but not sure with VA disability. Since I lost my job back in May 2008 I have been collecting unemployment, SSD, and VA disability. The SS lady told me the reason why they don't interfere but forgot. I think she said since unemployment is state and other two are federal they don't conflict.

I am not sure but the IRS used to count unemployment as a taxable wage which would show up on Social Security earnings statement and the VA uses that to make its determination.

For the life of me I do not understand how someone with a 35 GAF is able to work?
