Possible New Claim But Getting Nowhere Fast

Question

Don't know where to begin, but I will give it a try. I currently have a 30% disability with the VA for high blood pressure and 11th and 12th vertebrae fusion. Last Monday I had a SVT heart ablation operation performed, it failed, and a permanent 2 wire pacemaker was installed. I was diagnosed prior to the procedure with svt and sudden cardiac death (6 second pauses in the heart).

I called my DAV rep in Big Springs, TX and he needs a statement indicating a possible connection with my high blood pressure and svt/scd. I have very low blood pressure as well because of the low heart rate when scd is present. I contacted my civilian cardiologist this morning and got a call back. They won't stick their necks out and told me to contact the electrocardiologist who treated me. My cardiologist is the one who told me of my diagnosis in the first place. What do I do if both refuse to give me a statement?

Thank you
