Question

Some months back when I went to my PTSD examination, the doctor did not want to hear about my stressors prior to Vietnam. He said we just need to leave it alone. I believe that I had PTSD even before I went to Vietnam. Should I persue this, or just do like the good doctor said and drop it?

Papa,

If your already getting 30 % SC for PTSD, unless your looking for an increase

just let it be.

VA only compensates for one mental health disability,

doesn't matter how many stressor's you've had.

Check to see if there is a Vet Center in your area

maybe you want to get some therapy, and you can talk about

things there.
