Does My Rating Help Me ?

Question

I was recently rated 50 % for PTSD. I have some questions regarding other claims i hope to file. My records have not been located by The VA or myself after several attempts. My question is this, am i SOL on other claims or would the service connection for ptsd open the door for other claims even though there is no evidence ,thru no fault of my own.The other claims would be for GWS ,GERD AND TINNITUS. I had signed up for the GWS registry back in 95' or 96 and went to a full day of exams .They don't even show me in the system for the registry. Luckily i went with a buddy (who just retired a SGT MAJOR)that will write me a buddy letter stating we went together and all of the exams are in his SMR'S. I don't want it to sound like i'm saying theres a conspiracy, but why would almost every

detail of my military career just disapear. These records go to different places and i'm batting 1000 for being lost !!!!!

Any answers appreciated.

Thanks Sgt Sandman

Wanted to see if anyone had any in site to this post. I just filed my claim and have all my records are lost. I am following all the advise from here. I am just concerned about the affect on my claim and timing of my claim.
