I've been asked by my last two employers if I should be operating motorized vehicles and/or machinery with the types/amount of meds I take. Hopefully the atachment comes thru with this posting.

Thanks!

ole,

If you read the pamplets that come with several of your medications,

the answer would be NO "last two employers if I should be operating motorized vehicles and/or machinery with the types/amount of meds I take."

jmho,

Remember - different meds have a different effect on different people. The ones to really worry about are any with the drowsy labels and some of the psychotropic meds.

The ambien might cause drowsiness which may linger into the day.

I liked your comment beside the vitamin B complex. I take it for the same reason. You might want to also toss in a good multivitamin. Watch out for the iron because too much might back you up.

That flunisolide nasal spray didn't do it for me. The VA switched me to nasonex (mometasone furoate) and I noticed considerable improvement. They also gave me saline sprays and rinses, which help a lot too.

You are taking too many meds when you fall and crash into the wall like I did last night. I am sore today. It was a combo of pain meds and klonopin that did me in. The percoset really affects my balance. I feel ok but my balance is way off when I take an extra dose of this stuff. You got to be careful with any drugs that can depress your breathing. There are lots of them.

I was just thinking about mine last night. I take 15 pills everyday. I had to tape a piece of paper on my mirror to remind me exactly, what and when to take. Heck i have a bad memory anyway, but sometimes these meds just jack me up.

Goodluck with your meds .

ole navygoat The quetiapine comes in 100 mg pills if you do not want to split your 200.

olenavygoat,

taking more than one antidepressant at a time can cause toxicoses in the body.

Trazadone, Paxil & Gabapentin taken together will put you in a psychotic state. I lived this way for almost three yrs before a nurse found it.
