HadIt.com Elder Philip Rogers Posted January 6, 2010 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted January 6, 2010 First off, they may be the wrong drug!!! You should check online to verify you are getting the right drug, "before" you take them. Or, they found somewhere they could get them cheaper. pr why is it that when u get your meds refilled, they sometimes give u different size, shape or color pills from the previous month's B) meds. anyone ever notice this? babyray
Content Curator/HadIt.com Elder Vync Posted January 6, 2010 Content Curator/HadIt.com Elder Share Posted January 6, 2010 They buy their medication from the cheapest vendor. The pharmacy purchasing unit probably re-evaluates the cost at regular intervals, changing vendors as market costs change. In one year, I will typically get three or four different types of loratidine. I always request pills in the bottle, not the blister packs, but find that they give me what they have in stock.
