kilo 3/3 Posted January 13, 2010 Share Posted January 13, 2010 I have heard that if benefit percentages are reduced, they can not take the benefit while under appeal, and also have heard that the benefit will be taken after 60 days. sharon Posted January 13, 2010 Share Posted January 13, 2010 The benefit can not be reduced before you have a hearing. You have 60 day from the preposal to reduce to request a hearing. If you fail to request a hearing, in a timely manner, the reduction will take place. In the mean time I would file an increase request, also. Someone correct me, if I'm wrong.
