My comp exams were different for each condition and some were not well documented in my Service Treatment Records (STR)s. For example, for varicous veins, the initial examining doctor probed around and asked about my military speciality. In the c&p exam report, there was no specific mention of service nexus. I think the boon was that was my iniitial claim after discharge less than a year after. Other comp exam reports were specific to the condition and mentioned a service history that I didn't provide but was 'gleaned' from my STR's. The conditions for both of these exams were service connected disabilities by the VA. The proof wasn't mentioned in the rating decision, just the basic condition and service connection. One other exam I fought tooth&nail for the 'nexus', its written in triplicate locations now and service connected but wasn't before my working it before Hadit helped. Hope this can help a bit....
