Updated Death Certificate

teejay53

Question

i would like someone's opinion on this.

in my original information i sent to the va for widow's benefits i included my husbands death certificate and a copy of the amendment that was sent to be notorized showing the change on the death certificate from showing divorced to married.

yesterday i received the certified document showing the correction (changed divorced to married). should i send this certified document to the va even though i have already sent a copy of the one that went to sacramento, ca to be notarized?

i thank you for you advise.

Definately, yes. Send a copy, keep the original. ~Wings
