Do I Need A Va Appointed Doctor?

Rate this question

Question

I have always had medical insurance coverage by my employer. Since becoming disabled I now have Medicare.

Question, would I benefit any by having the VA to assign me a VA doctor? I have never used any VA drugs or doctors. Would it help in the claim process?

Thanks for any reply

Ken

It could since the VA as easier access to those records. A VA doctors letter of support usually carries more weight.

A VA Doctor has more more weight than any other MD opinion

However I do think that it would help you to take advantage of the benefits that you have earned.
