Initial Mh Evaluation

Today I received My progress notes from my MH provider I decide to seek treatment for depression and chronic pain syndrome . This is the DSM IV Diagnostic Impression of me.

Axis I Major Depression

Axis II Diagnosis Deffered

Axis III Chronic

Axis IV Employed

Axis V GAF 60

My question is this enough to petition the VA for a proper C&P Exam

for depression/chronic pain syndrome Secondary to my service connected

injuries.

The evidence you really need is a nexus between your service and your disabilites. The shrink can say you have depression and chronic pain, but you must prove that these are related to your service.
