Should I Send This To Va?

teejay53

Question

i have filed for (widow's benefits) dic in december 2009 and i received a letter today form my husband's doctor today.

in the letter the doctor stated that my husband had no risk factors for contracting the hep c except from the blood transfusion my husband received during the surgery for a severe stabbing he received while on active duty.

should i sent this to the va as well. i signed and returned the vcaa notice on january 28 as i did not think i was receiving anything else from his doctor. is it to late to send this in?

thank you for help.

teejay53,

My opinion, is yes I would most definitely make a copy of the letter and write a short letter

and send it in or take it and have it date stamped and to please add this in evidence of your

claim.
