Fallen And Having A Hard Time Getting Up

Question

Well hey all. I have been assignedd to attend these weekly PTSD group meeting and its been really hard. Not really sure how I feel about it. My head is swimming and still having all sorts of dreams of being buried alive. Being stuck in a hole and waiting to exhaust myself to the point where I eventually just fall out and sleep. The MH docs gave me this exam and I got a 50. So as far as VA goes to me it really means nothing. I'm already TDIU P&T. At least now I am getting out the house but what chaos I have to go through. I have a new power chair and they screwed up with getting me the correct lift for my vehicle which is on its last leg. So I cant tote my chair around usually have to be put in one of the VA wheelchairs when I get there and leave mine at home in the mean time until I find a way to transport mine. Well they did apologize and say they are working on it. So it will be ok. I know I sound like I am here there and everywhere. I hate going to those PTSD meetings but I am hanging in there, and I get all anxious and worked up for the rest of the week after leaving there. Not sure why I am writing this just venting I guess.

Good Luck on your treatment. Getting the lift will make things a lot better for you.

Thanks Pete. I know you know what I mean when it comes to anxiety etc. I just really dont see how going over it and reliving these things are suppose to help. I get tore up listening to the other veterans experiences as well. I do know the grass is not greener on the other side and there are lot of people suffering alot worse than me and I feel for them. Thanks for caring. Off of subject for a sec but I wanted to ask had you heard anything about the VA only allows 2600 veterans into the ILP at any given time?
