Testing

Hiya, fellas. I'm a Viet Nam vet, Navy and I've been in the VA health care system for about 20 years.

Recently, my primary health care provider AND my shrink are saying my routine urine tests aren't showing my meds.

One has me on vicodin for my lower back and the shrink has me on clonazepam.

What kind of tests are they using and why aren't they picking them up in my system??

Knowing the VA if you are taking the meds they may have shgort cutted and not done the tests or even mixed up samples. If it were me and I was confronted like that I would request an immediate test to prove I was taking or not.

One last thing always expect the VA to test for meds when they ask for urine. They also are looking for how well you are using your meds or what they call therapeutic levels

Navy,

Are you on other medications, OTCs or Herbals that may be lowering the levels in your blood count ?
