Compentency Possible?

Rate this question

Question

Is it possible or sometimes normal to be 100% PTSD and competent to be able your own financial affairs.

What does one have to do with the other?

"Incompentency" sounds like a lot of unecessary work when you feel you are competent!

Yes, you can be 100% for PTSD and competent. I am and have been for 21 yrs, next month. They usually worry about the vet drinking, drugging or gambling their benefits away, which is why they do the incompetency thing. If there's no history or current problems w/that it shouldn't happen.

I am 100% for Mental and if you ask Mrs Pete I am incompetent but the VA says I am. I pay bills on time and we manage to take care of each other.

I think that the VA uses incompetency far to often.
