Question

Hello everyone, just writing to see if I can get a quick answer. I received a "SUPPLEMENTAL STATEMENT OF THE CASE" last week. the statement of the case it's in regards for claim that I submitted for secondaary issues related to a service connected injury in NAM. The secondary issues were denied; these were for chronic foot pain which requires surgery, knee pain, and back pain. The primary claim was approved, it was for a badly broken foot which required joint and bone fusion surgery. Question is: for this SSOC do I need to send a VA form 9 or any other forms i am not aware of. I do want to pursue these secondary claims, according to their examiner statement none of these secondary issues are the result of the surgically repaired foot. I have over compensated for pain of main injury for 40 plus years, now I am scheduled for left foot surgery, foot has deteriorated badly. Apparently a badly injured foot does not have an effect to the rest of your body. Any answers will be appreciated. Just confused about what forms to fill out. Their letter sounds a bit threatening about sending the correct forms. If wrong form submitted they'll dismiss the case. Anyway, thanks all. I need to submit these as soon as possible, there is a time limit.

James
