Question
Josephine
Hi to all.
I need some help please.
I filed a new claim for service connection for High Blood Pressure Secondary
to my already 100% Chronic Anxiety.
I received the VCAA letter today and it is the same old crap.
The R.O wants me to send them authorization to secure my medical records from the two
doctors who treated me for this since 1972.
I looked in my service medical records and my blood pressure was never taken or if so
never written down.
This is not the problem, my first readings of high blood pressure began 8 years after discharge.
I know my anxiety causes my blood pressure to elevate, but I thought when I opened the
claim they would use the medical records they already have.
I have about 2000 sheets in my C-file as it is and I see no reason to ask my doctors
to sent all of those medical records again, repeating 30 some years of treatment.
I think I need to write and tell them to forget it and close the claim.
I am correct, right?
I have never seen a death certificate state cause of death. " Chronic Anxiety".
I was trying to find a way to protect him if I kick the bucket sooner than I need too.
Thanks a bunch,
Betty
