  • Can a 100 percent Disabled Veteran Work and Earn an Income?

You’ve just been rated 100% disabled by the Veterans Affairs. After the excitement of finally having the rating you deserve wears off, you start asking questions. One of the first questions that you might ask is this: It’s a legitimate question – rare is the Veteran that finds themselves sitting on the couch eating bon-bons … Continue reading

Hello To All My Fellow Veterans!

Recommended Posts

I'm grateful to have learned about this site from a friend. I'm at 18 years in the Navy with 4 combat tours in Iraq starting with the initial push in 2003. Since then I realized I've developed many medical problems and I'm concerned with my health and future. PTSD, hypertension, sleep apnea are some of the issues I'm dealing with and I feel like I'm a used rag doll about to be tossed out with the trash. I just need a place to vent now. I'm too overwhelmed today to include my questions about the VA process. I just feel like they expect me to retire from the Navy as a combat Corpsman and walk right into the same world as everyone else. I feel hopeless right now!! I don't want to sound like a wimp, but I'm a broken soul and need help.

Welcome to Hadit.

One of the first places you might want to check out

when you get discharged, is The Vet Center in your area.
