Question

Has this question come up before? If someone is receiving TDIU and then wins some $ either through a state lottery,or horse race(or some other lucky/legal method-not through a job),will this mess up their TDIU benefits?

No. Lottery winnings, Horse racing winnings, rental property ( That you have someone else manage), is considered passiv e income and not earned income so please play responsibly.

Anything on a W2 or a 1099 that indicates regular work will hurt. Social Security, investments, gifts and other money does not count.

If you own 100 rent houses they don't count either unless you are acting as a Manager and not an owner
