I got denied after my c & p for sc. I am now working with a Phd working under supervision of an MD who used to do comp and pension exams to get an IMO. I gave them all my records, they did a 3 hour interview, want to do another. My new evidence will partially be a rating of disabled by the state voc rehab dept.
My vet rep at state vet affairs office is having me go for a DRO hearing instead of appeal to BVA saying it will only take a max of 6 months instead of years. He says that in the event of a VA c & p denial but with an IMO saying there is a connection the tie automatically goes to the vet and the rater has to award me something.
Is this accurate as far as anyone else knows? If I had been told that I would have gone for the IMO initially to submit along with the c & p and I would not now be waiting. Seems too easy to be true.
