I wanted to ask those who have ssdi if they look for different info for ssdi versus va. I have the dx and am wondering what they will be looking for, for my approval for ssdi.

SS has a time limit that can bite people in the ass. Don't delay looking into what you can get from them.

With SSD there are expert lawyers who can help you. With VA the area of expertise is just beginning. There are probably 30 lawyers in my city who do SSD, but only a few who do VA law from VARO onward, so getting good representation is a problem. SSD is much better organized than VA. The SSD files and system of ajudicating claims can be fast. I got mine in about three months. Can you imagine getting IU or 100% from scratch in three months from the time you file?

Once the Lawyers find out that they can get a lot more money than SS pays them they will like Vets a lot better.
