Unless you are 100% you would need to file a claim to get it service connected.

I think that if your DMII is service-connected you could get the dental disease SC, but as Pete says, you gotta file a claim. If your dentist says the tooth loss is due to a secondary condition of DMII and your DMII is SC then you should be able to win your claim, but you need as much evidence as possible because the VA C&P doctor can always come up with alternative diagnosis.
