He seems unaware of what the private message function is, but he should be able to find his way over to the webpage.

I think I figured out the PM function.

I sent you one this morning and one a few minutes ago.

I went to venteransoutreach.info but I did not have the info that they required for CONTACT.

I'm still new to the tech side of hadit.

Thank you for helping me out,

Mike S.

I meant to say that I e-mailed you this morning and PMed you a few minutes ago!

Well, put simply, if you have a letter from your VA doctor that says you have agoraphobia, just submit that with a simple 21-4138 saying "I am requesting special monthly compensation - housebound". The VA will respond by giving you a C&P exam, but they may just accept the request at face value and grant housebound.

I am not sure on the TDIU part, but other legal beagles should be able to chime in.

I will say that you should get a letter from your psychiatrist or psychologist, a letter from both would be great. Stating that you are housebound due to Agoraphobia, or whatever the reason is. I have housebound and had letters from both doctors. I am 160% + housebound.

Hi Tbird:

Bradley v. Peake cleared up the TDIU question last year.

Thank you for HADIT.com, Tbird. You and a few other members saved my life back in '03.

I'm not on HADIT.com very much, but I never forget how it (you) changed me.

Anyway: Bradley v. Peake.

Great to hear we were able to provide some help for you. Anybody got a link to Bradley v. Peake. I think it would help to put it in this thread.
