My son was diagnosed with colon cancer at the age of 31. He was a tanker during the Gulf war, and just awarded 100% after years of fighting the VA. He kept filing claims that it was SC due to exposier of Depleted Uranium as a tanker and always denide. He finally talked to a specilist AT THE VA HOSPITAL about 5 months ago and she told him that it takes 5 years from onset to manifestation. So if he was in the service during any of that time period he should refile using this information and claim SC as unknown causes. WHAMMO 100% just last week. Just a little info that could lead to a BIG difference.
