Is 54.64 Equal To 50% Or 60%?

I just received an increase from 10% to 20 % effective 1 Nov 2008 which increased my rating from 48.97% to 54.64% (50 or 60 percent?). Then, in the same letter they increased that same injury from 20% to 40% effective 4 March 2010 which takes me to 65.98%. So, is 54.64 equal to 50% or 60%?

Yes, I am working. What is IU? ...

IU can be a double edge sword, pilgrim01. It can be a life preserver or it can be a ball and chain. IU will keep you and your family's head above water, and out of the poor house.

If you are relatively young, able to work and enjoy what you are doing, then you should go for the brass ring in life and stay in the work market. If you excel in your vocation, you could make more money in one week, than one month on IU. .... JMHO
