Question

Good evening all. I have recently attempted to file for SSDI. I was sent some forms to fill out , basic questions such as How do your illness, injuries, or conditions limit your ability to work? I just want to word things right. I am rated for 80 percent through the VA. had lumbar fushion and have chronic pain and limited ROM. I have bladder issues as well. Depression and panic attacks etc. Just have a hard time putting all this into words to sound professional. Any advice or where I could find this info would be greatly appreciated..

You should not worry about sounding professional. You should explain what your worst day is like and what you have to deal with on a day to day basis. There are some examples on here that you can research, and others will chime in too. Good luck. I'm waiting to hear back from SSD myself.

Willie,

It's good that you asked; you basically have to become an amateur lawyer to minimize the time involved in the SSDI process.

Here's one resource I used to be successful:

Also:

They are looking to see if you can do ANY work.

All the best!
