Question #1 Does the VA have your current address in your "C" File? If not get it corrected.

The NOD should go initially to the VARO that has your file, along with any needed change of address information.

That deciding VARO is supposedly responsible for the decision you are filing an NOD on.

Recent notices of VA decisions generally list the VARO as the correct place to initially send the NOD, and say not to send it directly to the BVA.

Given a possible 60 day time frame, there isn't a lot of time to screw around with who to send it to.

If it chooses, the VA can respond administratively, rather than send it on to the BVA.

Or, the VA can "eat" the allotted time up, making it difficult to file a valid NOD, appeal, etc.

where should i send my NOD ? i now live in a different state than the one i filed the claim in . thanks for any help , GOD BLESS THE USA.
