had MRI done today for right ankle which is sc 10%. Doctor called need to wear medical foot what are the chances for an increase shold i or not file for increase. help

In plantar flexion at more than 40°, or in dorsiflexion at more than 10° or with abduction, adduction, inversion or eversion deformity 40

In plantar flexion, between 30° and 40°, or in dorsiflexion, between 0° and 10° 30

5271 Ankle, limited motion of:

Marked 20

Moderate 10

5272 Subastragalar or tarsal joint, ankylosis of:

In poor weight-bearing position 20

In good weight-bearing position 10

5273 Os calcis or astragalus, malunion of:

Marked deformity 20

Moderate deformity 10

5274 Astragalectomy 20

CHeck your Mri results to the above criteria.

a medical boot is only for temporary wear right...? If so, how is wearing a boot going to lead to an increased rating? Not trying to discourage you, but I don't see an increased rating based on a medical boot.

i dont now how long will i be wearing this boot or what is going on until i see my doctor tomorrow. i was just asking a ? because i have never worn a medical boot.
