C&p Copy

I was wondering if the C&P reports thats in my c:file are the same ones we get in our VA hospital records, or do I have to review my c:file and request copies? Also, is it written C&P exam on the reports?

Carlie, I had my two C&P exams done at QTC. I have requested copies of the exams through the freedom of information act, but that will take forever. After reading your response to Cooter, it scares me on what will be deleted from these reports. QTC did give me part of my medical report because they saw something that I needed to give to my doctor immediately, turned out that it was not that important. I have ask QTC for copies, but they tell me that I will need to wait for the VA. I have thought about calling each examiner's office again, and if they say no, maybe some $$$$ would help change their minds.

Just go in and provide them with the date of the C&P exam and

they should be able to print it out right there for you, on the spot.

Then you will know what the examiner actually stated.

Getting copies from a C&P done at a QTC doc is completely different.

In most cases I see that they do not release these to the claimants.

The VARO usually won't provide a copy until after a rating decision has been made.

This is only what I have observed.

When you get copies of the C&P exams from the VAMC's - I don't know of anything

being deleted from the exam results.

What I do see is many times the VBA decision maker will re-word the C&P exam more

to their liking or their train of thought.
