Question

I received a call from the VA Nehmer group this morning 7:30am CST stating "The IHD claim is ready for decision as noted MAP D suspense." Does that mean it has been rated and needs to be signed off on or what? Does anyone know the steps and where this puts me toward the claim being finished? This is for IHD in cinnection with AO under Nehmer. I was originally denied in 2004. I sure am hoping it is good news. The VA C&P states is IHD and so does info from my cardiologist. I have chronic congestive heart failure. mets 3-5 and LVF is 43%.

Thanks for any info you can share.

Bob

I think the call is just what it seems to be which is letting you know they are ready to rate you. I believe it is going to get rated soon since it is a priority. I think it is good news, but I have no idea what your rating will be in the end. Anyone who says they know when the VA will actually rate you is just guessing. You are in the last stages, but who knows how many are ahead of you? The fact the VA called you means that it is moving along and is important to the VA. They don't usually call vets about their claims. You just get an evelope in the mail one day. This is my opinion for what it is worth.
