New to site.

I am a Disabled Vietnam Veteran and served in 1969-1970. Was wounded on Hamburger Hill.

I would like some help with a claim I field for IHD and Nehmir.

I just received an IRIS responds that stated I was not part of Nehime as I was receiving compensation for Heart Disease. I am receiving 10% for Heart Disease tied to PTSD and Vietnam. This was from the Oarland Regional office. I can provide more fact if needed.

Would not Nehmir and Agent Orange be a seperate claim as I had filed back in 2000 for CAD & Heart Disease.

My Doctors report shows Unstable Angina

Coronary Artery Disease

S/P Bypass graft

Mixed Hyperlipidema

Hypertension

Injection Fraction of 52%

Heart attack in July 4th 1998 with a five way bypass

Heart attack in 2009 and in Mather Hospital for 4 days.

They have ordered another C& P by a NPT for January 7, 2011.

Please let me know what I should do next.

Thank You

RDT

"I just received an IRIS responds that stated I was not part of Nehime as I was receiving compensation for Heart Disease."

That is right-the Nehmer stipulation would have come into play if the past heart claim you filed had been denied.

Is your claim for a higher CAD rating?

After the C & P is finished you should request a copy of it to see if it helps you fit into a higher rating percent.

One of the Mods will move this into Claims Research for you.
