Question

If you file for an increase March 10, and you are increased to 50% or more, would the effective date be March 10 or April ? Also if you received medicines March 10 or later, would you be reimbersed for them?

Thanks,

sbrewer

It should be effective the date you filed but not always. When I got TDIU they retroed it back a year from my request for increase due to evidence. I got reimbursed for dental work I had done. I think Peter suggested I go for the reimbursement but it was a long strange trip to get it. I went through fee base under unauthorized expense. It was weird and took 6 months. The first thing the VA did was just throw away my paperwork and they admitted it to me.
