C&p Exam

Question

Hi everyone, need a little help on this one! I was recently medically retired from my federal job due to my service connected injury getting worse. So, I filed for TDIU and I had my C&P in Nov and in Dec I went and got a copy of my medical records to see what the doc wrote on my C&P, because I felt the C&P was not thorough. After reading my C&P I noticed the doctor had put several things in there that one he did not even examine me on and two he lied on the other things. I had 3 neurosurgeons and 1 spine specialist all say different things than this C&P doc. I have the evidence I need to prove this doc either lied or did not examine me properly. What can I do? Should I wait for my TDIU decision and appeal it or make an inquiry now for another C&P request? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Gotcha.....I have put together a supporting evidence package that will discredit the C&P doc and especially since the other docs I saw was only a couple of months before my C&P I'm hoping the VA can't claim my condition may have improved since then. I will not use my congressman until after my decision (if it uses the C&P results). I'm stressing my self out of something I really can't control! Hopefully I can calm down! lol

As far as my employers go......the VA has not even sent the forms to them yet to respond. As of today it's still in the "gathering information stage", but we all know how well their systems talk to eachother. You can call 3 times in a row and get a different answer each time!

Thanks again and hopefully I will be able to post some good news soon!

If you have had your C&P exam you might just wait for the decision. If it is against you then get the exact evidence you need. Getting TDIU or 100% from the VA is a job. It is a long term project. You have to get it and then you have to keep it. The VA does not rush for the dying. They won't rush for us either.

SSG,

You can print these forms out online yourself and take them to the HR department of

your previous employers, then ask when you can come pick them up or for them to call you

when they are ready or perhaps even fax them to you.

Then submit them to the VA.

This is a much quicker way to get this evidence into your record for adjudication.

Do you know the form name or # I would need to print off to take to my previous employer? Thank you for your help!
