There is a shot you can take to protect. I have wondered about it as I am asked by PCP if I want it.

I was treated for shingles many years ago. they gave me lots of nerve blocks.. it really sucked,, I Lost control of the side of my face,, but control returned a few hours later.. they put in many, mnay needled into my stomach at on time... ( i think it was, and not the back, it was 20 years ago..).
