Va Compensation Increase

Question

I guess this can be considered a "good news story". I was just increased from 30% to 50% for PTSD. However, I would like to know, what should I do next? Should I wait awhile before I re-apply for another increase? My condition is getting worse as time goes. Does anyone have an idea?

Thanks,

Healer

Send in an appeal. If they rated you 50% you are probably entitiled to 70% knowing the VA. You can add new evidence as the appeal progresses. Are you employed?

John-you are a mind reader-

John's right -are you employed? If not does your PTSD hinder you from working?

Do the meds for the PTSD prevent you from working?

Did they give you the correct retro back to day you filed your claim?

If you are not working you deserve 100%. If you are working 50% may be alright? Anyway if you are getting worse you should appeal.

Just my opinion the VA is not generous on ratings for anyone at least that has been my experience.
