Yeah I called the records center and they said they had my records and i said great ill be there to get a copy of them ok? and they said "yeah sure just come on up". So i drive the two hours get there go through the security and walk through the door up to the glass where this guy behind the glass points to a sheet laying there and says "fill that out" so i proceeded to fill it out. Than after i turned it in he took it to someone who then walked up and said have a seat at the tables behind you for when they bring your stuff out for viewing" So i waited and waited and waited an hour went by so then finally they call me back up to the front window and tell me that they dont have any of my records. I told them two hours ago i just talked to a person and gave the name which was one of the people i was looking at through the glass. They said sorry we dont have any of those are you sure they didnt burn up in the fire of whatever year that was? Funny that they cant find any medical records of mine that i need and im still waiting. So yeah i know personally first hand what some of these people are going through. I was told any of the day to day loggs that shouldve also proved some things from the company i was in could not be found either. Thank God i had buddy statements to verify some of the things in my claims, and i know for most they must be hard to get because it took me about 2 years just to find some of these people. Most just drop off the planet and have no contact it seems like or at least from our company they did. Anyway I know what your going through so hopefully they will find all of our records at some time or another for our claims.
tower rat your records are there it,s a game va likes to play i really fell everyone who works for va need to take a mental test, every year because that get power crazy, what they did to tou they enjoyed, go on st louis fire page you will see no medical records were in fire all medical records were lent to va across the country,to think we risked our lives for these sunbags, makes me sick, frank

Yes "WIngs" -I gave this info to Frank a week ago-

You are right-

active service life insurance policies gotten during service can be converted and Frank had an SD VLI policy - so he did convert it after service yet it is a RH type of insurance and there are no dividends. He thought there were dividends on it- but as far as I know- and I gave him the VA Insurance link I used too- this type of RH SDVLI does not acquire dividends.

breta wings, about 3 ys,i got letter from ins co, they asked if i wanted it ,changed,i said no, my policy is a NSLI-V,this policy intrest,i will find that letter and print what i states, this was mine since 1949,i have never paid for it,when i call the va insurance, the tell me it,s gone they won,t even talk to me about it. another thing when i got 100%, in 2003,i applied for a rh policy, i got letter from ins va saying,in order to get this policy you must be discharged, after 4-25-51, in 52-56- i am in navy i still have that letter, plus the letter asking if i wanted to change the policy, that policy is still active, but i can,t find even on my discharge papers they have a x where you state if you want to keep policy, under law you have 31 days to write to DC to let them know if you want to keep it i wrote letter in 49,this letter has the va stamp on it,i still have that letter whenever i try to find out where it is they ,say it closed in 2003,who ever had it took it when i got my files in 2003 but i know someone in va must have it . frank

This is different information-than I seemed to read in your past posts-

I thought it was Social Security Disability -

However regardless- if the SSI or SSA award is for the exact same claimed condition for service conection- that evidence supports a total disability award for service connection-

I thought you got SSA or SSI for a shoulder injury from the USS Hobson-

If the doctor put down heart and High blood pressure- did you ever question this as to where the follow up care was ? You could have claimed these conditions as service connected. If you meant the Navy doctor-

I am lost on understanding your posts Frank-

It would be great if you can find a service officer to take the time to go over your paper work-

You mentioned the other day that you have 55 or 60 appeals filed-

Men and women here cant get the VA to even read and comprehend their evidence on basic claims- let alone appeals-

I just got a letter on my CUE claim that is very difficult to understand.

They got the dates of the decision I am cueing all wrong and said my husband never filed a Sec 1151 claim.

I have his Sec 1151 claim right here-he predicted they would kill him in it-

He filed it in March 1994.

they said it was in the rating board on the morning of the day he died.

My point is- the VA will screw up anything they can-

they will confound and confuse our issues-to stave off a proper award-

that is why we have to keep it simple for them-

If you are claiming an earlier effective date for 100% on re-open or a CUE claim-you will need proof that bonafide medical evidence was of the record to support this.

Have you found any service officer yet -as others recommended -who can go over all this with you?

Frank, Get a good service officer! Sit down with him or her and pour over your evidence. There's no way we are going to be able to make heads or tails of your dozen claims and 52 appeals on the internet!!
