I did not find it that interesting, in that it seems to be typical of VA management misuse of government funds and procedures in the obvious self interest of the participants.

Given the major problems the VA has, it seems to me that not only are the bonuses unjustified, they should be recalled. (Fat chance!)

Any bonus award that is not backed up by real and provable accomplishments should be considered fraudulent.

Any bonus award for "cost savings" should be looked at to determine if the cost savings are real, and did not occur as a result of reduced benefits or services to veterans.

This includes delays in providing such care and services.

Clear cases of conflicts of interest should result in ineligibility. I see evidence, but not enough detail to name names.

With what is happening and has been happening in our country - ALL State and Federal Bonuses should be frozen. Like it was stated though - FAT CHANCE. Look at what the Wall Streeters did after the market tanked and wiped out investors....
