Letter From Varo St Petersburg, Fl

Rate this question

Question

I think it is a certification letter from VA for obtaining free FL DV tags.

Basically states:

This is to certify that the records of the above-named honorably discharged veteran of the Armed Forces of the United States show that he has a service connected disability evaluated at 100 percent for purposes of compensation.

Letter dated July 16, 2011but post mark was July 22, 2011

The letter goes on with instructions on how to apply for the DV tags.

Have not yet received decision letter or retro info but hopefully within the next week or so.

No big envelope yet but super large DD in bank today. $485K.

The VA must have gone 100% all the way back to 1991 for that much retro.

Y I P E E . . . !

It's a bundle - but still - spend wisely !

"The VA must have gone 100% all the way back to 1991 for that much retro."

MAYBE! The Award letter will explain it all.

Holy Cow! We had a biggy here about 2 months ago but yours might be the biggest yet here.

"Actually I wasn't denied SC in 1991. I applied for and was granted non-SC pension for CAD/IHD in 1991."

OK -that means you are a Footnote One AO vet.(explained somewhere here)

I am a Footnote one AO widow as my husband's stroke due to IHD was NSC,then became 1151 and then last year direct SC. They never paid for the CVA or the IHD yet.

In most cases Footnote one of the Nehmer Court Order means that a past decision with a NSC rating for what is now one of the 3 new presumptives means they have to go back to that NSC decision for proper retro.

Your retro is a lot of money but NOTHING can ever compensate any AO vet enough for what they went through by being exposed to a weapon of Mass destruction that AO truly is.

You deserve this award. Congratulations!
