Question

I served in the Delta 1968 thru 1970 which qualifies as presumptive for agent orange for IHD. I recently started a claim and now will be going to QTC for an exam. Does anyone have experience with this? I j=have had by pass surgery.

Thanks

Welcome to hadit-

lots of IHD info in our Agent Orange forum.

I assume since you are Navy that you can prove 'boots on the ground'

Vietnam or your ship is on the VA's AO ships lists?

If you have had private care for your IHD this form can save time if your private cardio doc fills it out.

Make copy of it and then send to VARO with a 21-4138 or a short cover letter telling them this is in support of your AO IHD claim.

If not the results of the VA C & P exam can be obtained with a written request to the VAMC where it was done.

I assume you were never denied in the past by VA for any CAD or IHD?

If you were denied in the past for what is now a presumptive , then that denial is critical because it makes you a Nehmer claimant.

QTC is a mixed bag. Some think it is harder with them and some like me think they are more professional but in you case it seems to me that you should have a slam dunk with evidence to your service in Nam.

Good Luck
