Voc Rehab And Non Service Connected Injuries

Question

I am service connected for L shoulder, hearing and tinnitus 20% but my non service conditions far out way my service connected conditions. Would they also take into consideration those conditions also. I don't know anything about VRE. I have had carpal tunnel surgery both hands, c67 fusion, both shoulders with anchors,both knees, l45s1 problems, rt ankle surgery.

Is the 20% somehow a combined rating?

Yes its a combined rating. And your link states over and over service connected disability's so i am not really sure yet thanks for the help though.

You would probably do yourself some good and just fill out an application for VR&E. You never know what the counselors will find. If you have some type of disability that is not service connected, they still have to take that into consideration when evaluating you for employment or education.

Some of those counselors are very good and will try to help you as much as possible.
