Question

I called the VA last night to check the status of my claim. The rep that I talked to told me that they could see notes which says "you have an exam at the RO and this claim will be ready for the dcecision board after that".

The RO is in Bay Pines Florida. I normally go to Gainesville for my C & P's...I wondering why I would need to go to Bay Pines now???

They may have farmed out your claim to Bay Pines. I would call the C&P depart. in Gainesville to find out for sure. Or ask your VSO is you have one. You defiantly don't want to miss the appointment!

Check again to be sure it's at Bay Pines - if they insist it be done there

at least they have to pay your round trip mileage at travel for the C&P.

I hope you don't hit work time traffic and try to come on 75 not at all I-4.
